Provincial Capitol Lagoon

When i arrived in Bacolod last August 25, Julz brought me to the Provincial Capitol Lagoon of Negros Occidental. The Provincial Capitol has a fine structure from the Spanish architecture to the present time.

The landmark of Bacolod City, the provincial lagoon is a man-made body of water within a park with golden carabao/bufallo statues on its both sides. The lagoon is full of tilapia! Together with my friend’s niece, we enjoyed feeding the fishes some pop rice that can be bought outside the park.

The scene during night time is very relaxing. Having the provincial lagoon as your foreground and the provincial capitol as your background, you will feel the serenity of the place and its people.
