Just last year there’ve been news about the alarming spread of fake 5-peso and 10-peso coin. A lot of samples were flashed in the NEWS from different TV stations. During our camping and time to pay the camp site, i noticed the rusty 10-peso coin, it was lighter than the real one and the engravings are a bit distorted. I was able to take a picture of it and just gave back the fake one to the owner.

So check out the 10 peso and 5 coins you may have and check if those are the real ones or not.
